Accident Data CD

Product safety is one of the major factors determining product usability. Prevention of accidents occurring during product use is closely connected to product design. Providing a safe use is under the responsibility of the designer and the manufacturer to some extent.

As there is not data bank in relation to information on accidents in Turkey, UTEST has undertaken the duty to prepare a CD by collecting accident information in Europe and in the United States of America. In the first phase, a CD containing the information on the accidents occurred during use of electrical household appliances and general information about product safety are prepared.

UTEST Electrical Home Appliances Accident Data CD is expected to be a very important resource for manufacturers in Turkey. Similar CDs for different sectors are also aimed to be prepared.
